Forest Service plans to poison 10,000 prairie dogs (Bismarck Tribune)
Some 10,000 prairie dogs will be killed with poison this fall on the Little Missouri National Grasslands around Watford City. The U.S. Forest Service is taking comments on its plan to poison the burrowing animals scattered throughout 11 colonies on 310 acres in western North Dakota.
