Miami, FL (PRWEB) October 19, 2005 — A picture staged and shot by Pet Star, a unique photography studio dedicated to those with four feet and a waggy tail, has been chosen to grace the cover of a new coffee table book, “Dogs Dressed Up and No Place to Go.” Five additional Pet Star photos were also chosen for the inner pages publication. The 77-page book features hilarious photos of dogs in a variety of off-beat costumes and situations. Each photo is accompanied by funny and clever captions that add to the book’s good-natured humor.
The cover photo of “Dogs Dressed Up” features 2 cairn terriers owned by Pet Star President, Joan Saperstein.
“Cuddles & Pepper are the two dogs that helped launch Pet Star a decade ago,” Saperstein said. “Cuddles was showcased on Pet Star’s first business cards, and even after all these years, she is still a wonderful model. We’re thrilled that the photo was chosen for the books cover.”
Published by Publications International Ltd. as part of their New Seasons collection, “Dogs Dressed Up and No Place to Go,” is available on-line at www.petstar.net for $12.00 including shipping.
Pet Star has taken thousands of fanciful pet pictures over the last decade and has been featured multiple times on Univision and Telemundo, as well as in a feature documentary produced by the University of Miami. The company is also proud to have their photos showcased in a special exhibit at the Miami Children’s Museum.
